Forget-me-nots are among my favourite flowers. Last years’ havoc wrought to the flower bed along the shed foundation didn’t faze these survivors. Seeing this hardiness added to my fondness for these delicate yet hardy plants.

We bought a milkweed plant this spring from our local nursery and organic garden. It has flowered very prolifically, and we noticed seed pods. We’ll try to propagate them and thereby add to our yards’ diversity.
